MDF Beach Resort is located in Barangay San Sebastian, in the town of Samboan, in the south of Cebu island. It’s a quiet, authentic beach community right by the sea – the perfect base for both relaxation and adventure.
Along the coastline you will find clear water, coral reefs and marine sanctuaries for snorkeling and diving. Inland, just a short ride away, you discover some of Cebu’s most beautiful waterfalls, jungle landscapes and viewpoints.

Quiet Community & Easy Access
MDF is in the center of South Cebu. Outside the resort you will find a small bakery, street BBQ, sari-sari stores and a small local market that closes in the late afternoon. This is real Filipino province life, not a party strip.
The neighborhood is calm and safe, with only a few small bars or restaurants outside the resort. That is why we have our own in-house restaurant with an Italian chef and friendly staff who will welcome you like home.
You are about 5 minutes from the bus terminal to North and South Cebu and close to 2 major ports that connect you to Siquijor, Dumaguete and Negros Island. Car and scooter rental are available.
Tip: Because the local market and small eateries close early, most guests prefer to have dinner inside the resort after a full day of exploring waterfalls, islands or the marine sanctuary.
